Dermot Lacey is a Labour Party Councillor for the Pembroke-Rathmines Ward on Dublin City Council. He represents Donnybrook, Sandymount, Ranelagh, Rathmines, Rathgar, Milltown, Terenure, Harold's Cross and Ballsbridge. Dermot has been a member of Dublin City Council since 1993, and lives in Beech Hill, Donnybrook.

Dublin City Council has released details of the 2010 Christmas period waste collection arrangements. As Christmas Day falls on a Saturday this year, normal black and brown bin collections won’t be affected. Christmas tree recycling will be available at a variety of locations from January 2nd to 20th. Full details can be found here (pdf).
