Dermot Lacey is a Labour Party Councillor for the Pembroke-South Dock Ward on Dublin City Council. Dermot has been a member of Dublin City Council since 1993, and lives in Beech Hill, Donnybrook.

Committees

Following the Local Elections I have been appointed to the following boards and committees:

Local:

  • Rathmines – Pembroke Partnership.
  • Lansdowne Road Stadium – Project Monitoring Committee.
  • Chairperson –South East Area Policing Committee.

I have also been recently invited to serve on the Board of the Royal Hospital Donnybrook Voluntary Housing Association.

City Council:

  • City Council Audit Committee.
  • Finance and General Strategic Policy Committee.
  • Protocol and Selection Committee.

Dublin:

  • City of Dublin VEC
  • Dublin Regional Authority

National:

  • Association of City and County Councils
  • Southern and Eastern Regional Assembly
  • Irish Public Bodies Mutual Insurance.
  • Commissioners of Irish Lights

Over the coming years I hope to use my membership of these various bodies to represent the best interests of the Pembroke-Rathmines and of Dublin generally and to advance the various issues to which I am committed. I hope also to use this website to provide regular reports, where appropriate on these.
