He represents Donnybrook, Sandymount, Ranelagh, Rathmines, Rathgar, Milltown, Terenure, Harold's Cross and Ballsbridge. Dermot has been a member of Dublin City Council since 1993, and lives in Beech Hill, Donnybrook.
