Pembroke-Rathmines – New Electoral Boundaries

As some of you may know, the new areas for the Local Elections have now been determined and Donnybrook is now part of the new Pembroke-Rathmines area.  That area will elect six City Councillors, and Labour has selected Councillor Mary Freehill, Councillor Oisin Quinn and me to contest.

We believe it is possible to retain the three seats that Labour currently holds and I would appreciate your support for myself and my colleagues when those elections come. If you’re able to volunteer some time, contribute to our fundraising efforts or help in some other way, please let me know.

Even just an hour a month or five euro a month will make all the difference.  Contributions like that are how Barack Obama has gone from nowhere to the verge of being elected President of the United States of America tomorrow (hat tip to my campaign manager who’s in Obama’s Alexandria VA field office at the moment!)
