Dermot Lacey is a Labour Party Councillor for the Pembroke-Rathmines Ward on Dublin City Council. He represents Donnybrook, Sandymount, Ranelagh, Rathmines, Rathgar, Milltown, Terenure, Harold's Cross and Ballsbridge. Dermot has been a member of Dublin City Council since 1993, and lives in Beech Hill, Donnybrook.

Register to Vote

It’s that time of year again – the Electoral Register is being prepared.  At Dublin City Council, we’ve come up with a poster to encourage those who may not have been born here, but still have a right to vote, to register.

As readers may or may not know, anyone can vote in Local Elections in Ireland, regardless of nationality.  The only requirement is to be normally resident here.  So, get on to CheckTheRegister.ie and make sure you’re ready for June’s Local Elections.  (Especially those of you in Pembroke-Rathmines Ward!)
