JC Decaux Metropoles

In light of the ongoing problems with the JC Decaux Metropoles, I’ve submitted an Emergency Motion to next Monday’s meeting of Dublin City Council.

Emergency Motion for City Council meeting 1st September:

“In view of the very serious concerns expressed about the location of and insurance issues involved as well as the real questions that are being raised about the financial value of the agreement between the City Council and JC Decaux this Council requests the Manager to update the Council on the arrangement to date and calls for a suspension of the implementation of the scheme pending a full review and if necessary subsequent approval to proceed or abandon the scheme to be put to the elected members of the Council.”
