Environment Minister Dick Roche is guilty of “extraordinary ignorance of his brief and arrogance in his attitude” in attacking local authority rates increases, Labour Councillor Dermot Lacey has said. He was referring to comments made by the Minister in The Sunday Times yesterday.

Environment minister Dick Roche is guilty of “ignorance and arrogance” over his recent attack on local authority rates increases, Labour Councillor Dermot Lacey has said. The Donnybrook Councillor said that it looked like Minister Roche had overdone it on the Christmas festivities.
