RTE & Current Affairs (Letter to Editor)

7th March 2004

Letters to the Editor
The Irish Times,
D’Olier Street,
Dublin 2.

Madam,

Defending the decision to axe the Open House programme, an RTE Spokesperson said they had to keep “refreshing their programmes”.

Any chance a similar principle might be applied to what, for some obscure reason, they call their Current Affairs programmes?

Yours sincerely,

Councillor Dermot Lacey

66 Beech Hill Drive,
Donnybrook,
Dublin 4.
